About Me

Data Analyst turned Data Science student, with industry experience in SAS and analytics, and a passion for modern machine learning and AI.

Hello there

I’m Swati - exploring data, AI, and creativity

Fun fact -> I don’t have a surname:- Yes it's just Swati!

I worked as a Data Analyst + Team Leader at Accenture (2016–2022) and TCS (2023), specializing in SAS and business analytics. In 2024, I began my Master’s in Data Science at Victoria University of Wellington, focusing on statistics, machine learning, NLP, and visualization.

My recent projects include a cricket analytics R Shiny app, a smart invoice extractor (OCR + NLP), a Reddit sentiment analysis pipeline (NLP + Airflow), and smartcurvefit, an R package for robust nonlinear curve fitting with Rcpp.

My journey into data started with curiosity - I enjoyed spotting patterns in reports, then slowly realized I loved uncovering the "stories hidden in numbers". What began as routine dashboards turned into excitement for predictive modeling, automating workflows, and designing tools that make data come alive. Over time, I discovered that data isn’t just numbers - it’s a language that, when decoded, can explain behaviors, guide decisions, and even inspire creativity. That’s what keeps me hooked: the thrill of turning raw information into insights that actually matter.
